Caveat emptor (Buyer Beware)
This picture is one of my favourite references when a client tells me they have been offered a solution cheaper than what we have offered ourselves.
Broker companies are trying to capture new users to the private aviation sector, so competition is rife; however, there are operators in the industry that we refuse to use for reasons of safety, quality and service.
It is ever more important that those providing new-user clients with Private Jets, ensure the client is receiving an enjoyable experience, where they feel they are getting value for money and be encouraged to return to use them again. If you are trying something for the first time and you do not enjoy the experience, it is unlikely that you will repeat, especially if it has cost you more money than what you were doing previously.
The platform many brokers use to source their aircraft, is often skewed by the poorer quality operators appearing at the top. So, when a client advises they have received better offers - I use the phrase "Caveat emptor" (Buyer Beware) with the picture attached to this post.
If it looks like a horse and says "neigh" it's probably a horse!....but you need to make sure you've not been given a donkey.
