As the Premier League returns to our screens from this evening, the Group Charter team reflects on a busy summer which saw them fly seven major European football teams on their pre-season tours. Teams spanning the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A all utilised Volanteus’ services for their exhibition matches in the USA, where teams competed in the Premier League Summer Series and Soccer Champions Tour.
Whilst the Flight Care and Operations teams carefully coordinated the operation in the UK, three members of the team spent a busy two-week period travelling across the USA and accompanied each of the teams, ensuring every logistical aspect was taken care of to ensure a seamless operation.
With sixteen domestic flights and one transatlantic charter completed, the team is now relishing the opportunity to watch competitive football from this evening, although Craig is a little nervous about whether his favourite player and his beloved Tottenham’s talisman will be part of the team’s first game on Sunday.
