Why your next aircraft purchase or sale needs an independent advocate

Most aircraft brokers make the process look like smoke and mirrors. Here's what it looks like when someone is genuinely on your side.

Most people who buy or sell a private aircraft do so only a handful of times in their lives. The market, however, moves constantly. Off-market deals, shifting valuations, complex tax structures, and a brokerage industry that has historically been more opaque than it needs to be. Having someone genuinely in your corner makes a material difference.

At Volanteus, that’s the role we play. We act solely in our clients’ interests, whether they’re acquiring their next jet or selling an existing one. Our fee is a flat rate, payable only on completion, regardless of the final transaction figure. You can be confident we are never incentivised to inflate the price.

Access that goes beyond the open market

If you’re comfortable sourcing from platforms like JetNet or Controller, we’ll be the first to say we’re probably not the right fit. Our value lies in off-market access, where buyers and sellers retain complete discretion and the financial structure can be shaped to suit all parties. The aircraft we typically present are not publicly available. That distinction matters.

The full picture, not just the transaction

We guide clients through every stage: market analysis, comparative evaluations, pre-purchase inspection coordination, negotiation, contract support, registration and closing. Our technical advisor acts as an independent advocate for the buyer throughout, and many clients find that advice alone more than offsets our fee.

We also include a complimentary first consultation with our affiliate tax specialists, advisors who have been involved in the closure of thousands of aircraft transactions. To date, every client who has taken that initial meeting has chosen to engage them further.

Complete discretion for sellers too

For those selling an existing aircraft, discretion and access to the right buyers are everything. We bring both. Rather than listing publicly and managing a high volume of unqualified enquiries, we work within an established network to connect sellers with serious, vetted buyers, on terms that work for all parties.

A transparent agreement

We ask for total transparency and offer the same in return. Our acquisition agreement is simple: any fully vetted aircraft we present to you by serial number must be acquired through Volanteus if purchased within twelve months. It doesn’t restrict you from pursuing aircraft sourced independently, and we ask for no payment until the transaction is complete.

The right conversation to have

Whether you’re buying or selling, the difference between a smooth transaction and a costly one often comes down to who’s advising you. Contact us for a confidential consultation and expert guidance tailored to your requirements.
